Meet the people behind the content. MEAI IMEC brings media and entertainment buyers together with content owners, studios and industry businesses to explore acquisition, distribution, licensing and co-production. The 2027 edition takes place in New Delhi on 23–24 March.
A place to begin the right business conversation
The Indian Media & Entertainment Conclave is organised by the Media & Entertainment Association of India. Its focus is practical: helping businesses understand one another’s content, markets and requirements before discussing a potential partnership.
For buyers, that means discovering content and creative businesses relevant to their audiences. For sellers, it means introducing projects, rights and capabilities to prospective buyers. Each discussion is an opportunity to assess fit; participation does not guarantee a sale, commission or agreement.

Sellers and IP owners
Content owners, producers, studios, distributors and authorised rights representatives can prepare a company introduction and explain the content or services they bring to market. Seller registration is not open yet.
Business matchmaking
The platform is being developed for event-specific buyer–seller discovery and meeting workflows. IP catalogue, meeting requests and scheduling are planned features and are not operational yet.
Previous editions
IMEC’s historical archive includes records for 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2024. The 2018 edition took place at White Petals, Palace Grounds, Bengaluru; the 2024 edition was held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Archive material is labelled by edition and does not represent confirmed participation in 2027.
